Workday HCM Extend

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom applications using Workday Extend
• Build intuitive user interfaces and workflows within Workday
• Develop and consume Workday APIs, REST/SOAP web services
• Work with Workday Studio, EIBs, and integrations
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and IT teams to gather requirements
• Ensure security, compliance, and performance of Extend apps
• Support deployments, testing, and production issues

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of IT experience
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Workday HCM
• Strong experience with **Workday Extend
• Proficiency in JavaScript, JSON, REST APIs
• Experience with Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors
• Knowledge of HCM modules (Core HR, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll)
• Understanding of business process frameworks (BPF) in Workday

Preferred Qualifications

• Workday certifications (HCM, Extend, Integrations)
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
• Knowledge of security models and data governance in Workday
