Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end implementation and support of Workday Benefits and Core HCM modules
  • Configure benefit plans including health, dental, vision, retirement, life insurance, and wellness programs
  • Manage open enrollment, life events, eligibility rules, dependent verification, and benefits administration
  • Configure business processes, security roles, and workflow approvals within Workday
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, Compensation, and IT teams to ensure seamless benefits operations
  • Support integrations with third-party vendors such as insurance providers, payroll systems, and retirement platforms
  • Ensure compliance with benefits regulations, policies, and audit requirements
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable Workday solutions
  • Perform testing, UAT support, defect resolution, and post-production support
  • Drive Workday releases, enhancements, and optimization initiatives
  • Provide guidance to junior consultants and stakeholders on best practices
  • Maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and support procedures

Required Skills

Technical Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with Workday HCM and Benefits modules
  • Expertise in Benefits configuration, eligibility rules, enrollments, and life event processing
  • Knowledge of Core HCM, Payroll, Compensation, and Absence Management integration points
  • Experience with Workday Business Process Framework and Security configuration
  • Understanding of EIB, Studio, Workday Integrations, and reporting tools
  • Experience with benefits compliance requirements and audit support
  • Knowledge of testing methodologies including SIT, UAT, and regression testing
  • Familiarity with reporting tools such as Workday Reports and Calculated Fields
  • Experience with vendor integrations and benefits carrier file management
  • Understanding of data migration and production support processes
