Role Overview

The Project Manager will lead the full lifecycle implementation of Workday Finance ERP, including retiring legacy systems. This role involves planning, execution, and delivery across Accounting, Procurement, FP&A, and IT, ensuring alignment with business goals and long-term adoption.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Workday Finance implementation (planning → stabilization)
• Manage project plans (scope, timelines, milestones, resources)
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (Finance, Procurement, IT, HR, partners)
• Gather requirements and translate into Workday configurations
• Oversee modules: Financial Accounting, Supplier & Customer Accounts, Projects, Procurement, Expenses, Reporting
• Manage vendors and implementation partners
• Lead data migration (mapping, cleansing, validation, cutover)
• Drive testing cycles (Unit, E2E, UAT, Regression)
• Monitor risks, issues, dependencies and mitigate them
• Lead change management (training, communication, stakeholder engagement)
• Provide executive reporting to stakeholders
• Support post-go-live stabilization

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years in project management (ERP / enterprise programs)
• Hands-on Workday Financials implementation experience
• Minimum 2 full lifecycle implementations (Financial Accounting / FDM)
• Strong understanding of Workday deployment & SaaS ERP best practices
• Experience managing cross-functional finance & IT teams
• Proficiency with tools: MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira
• Strong communication & stakeholder management skills
• Experience managing budgets and vendor contracts

Preferred Qualifications

• Workday PM experience (Financial Accounting, FDM, Core Financials)
• Workday Finance certification or equivalent experience
• Background in energy accounting / procurement / finance operations
• Experience with integrations (EIB, Studio, Prism Analytics)
• PMP / Agile / Prosci certification
• Lean Six Sigma or similar certifications
