Title: Workday Business Analyst - Core HR & Talent Acquisition
Location - Onsite (Sunnyvale)
Duration: 6 Months +
MOI: Onsite Interview required

Job Description:
We are seeking a Workday Business Analyst with strong experience in Workday Core HCM and Talent Acquisition to support, optimize, and enhance HR and recruiting business processes. This role will partner closely with HR, Talent, and IT stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable Workday solutions while ensuring system stability, data integrity, and an excellent user experience.
Key Responsibilities
•    Act as a functional expert for Workday Core HCM and Talent Acquisition, including job requisitions, recruiting workflows, offers, onboarding, and employee lifecycle events.
•    Gather, analyze, and document business requirements; translate them into functional designs, configurations, and process improvements within Workday.
•    Configure and maintain business processes, eligibility rules, condition rules, calculated fields, and security for Core HR and TA.
•    Support Workday releases, testing (unit, integration, UAT), and regression validation; recommend and implement new features where applicable.
•    Partner with HR and TA teams to streamline hiring, onboarding, and employee data management processes.
•    Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and provide timely resolutions.
•    Create functional documentation, training materials, and support end users as needed.
•    Collaborate with vendors, implementation partners, and internal IT teams to ensure seamless integrations and data accuracy.
Required Qualifications
•    10 years of total work experience in IT as BSA
•    4+ years of experience as a Workday Business Analyst or Functional Consultant.
•    Hands-on experience with Workday Core HCM and Talent Acquisition.
•    Strong understanding of HR and recruiting business processes.
•    Experience with Workday configuration (BPs, security, condition rules, calculated fields).
•    Proven ability to gather requirements and work with cross-functional stakeholders.
•    Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
•    Workday certifications in HCM or Talent Acquisition.
•    Experience supporting Workday integrations and reports related to TA or Core HR.
•    Prior experience in construction, engineering, or project-based organizations.
•    Exposure to additional Workday modules such as Onboarding, Compensation, or Reporting.
