We are seeking an experienced Validation Engineer with strong expertise in vehicle testing and automotive validation to join our team in New Carlisle, Indiana. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with EV vehicle testing, heavy trucks (Class 5 & 8), and automotive validation tools.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Establish vehicle-level attributes and requirements
• Lead engineering problem-solving and troubleshooting activities
• Perform EV vehicle testing and diagnostics
• Plan and execute validation activities including engine and vehicle builds
• Conduct OTA, OTI, and electrical testing
• Work with validation tools such as CANalyzer, Somat, and Dewsoft
• Analyze CAN-based communication and vehicle data links
✅ Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology
• 5+ years of experience in product vehicle testing
• Experience with heavy trucks (Class 5 & 8)
• Strong expertise with CANalyzer / CAN tools
• CDL License required to drive school buses and heavy trucks
⭐ Preferred Skills
• Experience with EV or Diesel vehicles
• Familiarity with INCA calibration tools
• Knowledge of DoT regulations and commercial fleet trucks
• Experience with service tools like Cummins InSite or SDS
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
