Job Description

Major responsibilities include participating in detailed sessions with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs, data extract requirements, and downstream data consumption patterns. The candidate will develop reverse engineering data extracts documentation and support business reporting needs. They will design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines to move data into Snowflake using approved tools and frameworks, and translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications for self-service analytics.

Essential Job Duties

• Collaborate with data engineers and architects for data modeling and schema design in Snowflake
• Validate data quality and reconcile source-to-target results across multiple systems
• Develop data conversion and system implementation plans
• Prepare and maintain system and programming documentation
• Design database schemas to store and manage data
• Support Power BI datasets, semantic models, and dashboards using Snowflake
• Troubleshoot data pipeline issues from source systems to Snowflake and Power BI
• Document technical processes, data flows, and system dependencies
• Work with business stakeholders to translate reporting requirements into technical solutions
• Participate in code reviews, testing cycles, and production support

Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ Years: Snowflake (SQL, data loading, transformations, performance tuning)
• 8+ Years: ETL/ELT concepts, data pipelines, data integration
• 4+ Years: Power BI reports, datasets, and data models
• 5+ Years: Data analysis and troubleshooting across multiple systems
• 4+ Years: Enterprise information management and relational databases
• 2+ Years: Working in fast-paced environments and meeting deadlines
• Preferred: Informatica / Matillion / Azure Data Factory
• Preferred: Knowledge of PII regulations and data governance

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Processing, Business Administration, or related field
