• Experience working in public sector or state government environments, preferably within public safety or law enforcement agencies
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification

 Job Description:

The resource will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating project activities, including scope, schedule, budget, risk, and stakeholder management across cross-functional teams. This role ensures successful delivery of projects by maintaining alignment with the client objectives, governance standards, and established project management methodologies. 

Required Experience

• 8+ years of Project Management experience
• Managing large-scale IT or business transformation projects
• Strong knowledge of PMI/PMBOK, Agile, and Hybrid methodologies
• Project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management
• Stakeholder management and executive-level communication
• Risk management, issue tracking, and change control
• Experience with MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar tools
• Governance, compliance, and procurement experience

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Texas State Government or Public Sector environments
• Public Safety or Law Enforcement project experience
• FAST/DIR procurement framework experience
• PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification
• Experience managing IT system implementations, enterprise applications, or data systems
