Job Description:

The primary responsibility is to design and execute database upgrades from Oracle 19c to Oracle 23ai, and to maintain multiple environments that support ETL activities. Candidates must have hands-on experience with Grid Infrastructure setup and maintenance, security vulnerability compliance, and performance tuning.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience with Oracle Database Infrastructure Management (19c or higher)
• 8+ years of experience with Oracle Grid Infrastructure (ASM, Clusterware)
• 8+ years of experience with High Availability solutions (GoldenGate, Active Data Guard)
• Strong expertise in Oracle database upgrades from 19c to 23ai
• Experience maintaining multiple database environments supporting ETL activities
• Hands-on experience with performance tuning, security vulnerability remediation, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery
• Advanced scripting experience with Linux and SQL
• Experience with database modeling, monitoring, and optimization

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Federal, State, or Local Government organizations
• Experience working with hosting vendors
• Experience supporting Oracle PeopleSoft environments
