Job Description:
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Deployment Specialist with expertise in digital signage media solutions. The primary responsibility is to plan and implement the Wipro VisionEDGE solution within customer environments. This role involves close collaboration with customers to understand their infrastructure and deployment requirements, followed by planning and executing installation or upgrades of the VisionEDGE solution. Onsite deployment support is required, which includes travel to customer production sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute deployment of VisionEDGE solutions in customer environments.
- Collaborate with customers to assess infrastructure and define deployment strategies.
- Provide onsite support for installation and upgrades, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Diagnose and troubleshooting web applications built using Core Java.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Spring, Hibernate, and Angular.
- Hands-on experience with digital signage and DOOH platforms.
- Expertise in integrating OEG and Darktonics scoreboards.
- Experience working with AFL/NFL game feeds.
- Manage production deployments for on-premise and cloud-based software applications.
- Exposure to the sports and entertainment industry.
- Proficient in Linux commands and capable of creating bash scripts.
- Understanding of video technologies: codecs, streaming, encoding/decoding, and familiarity with set-top box devices.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for system issues impacting deployments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Required Skills:
- Java, J2EE knowledge along with Linux admin experience
- ITIL support process, Incident/Problem/Change Management process
- Work Experience as support engineer for software products.
