• Automate infrastructure provisioning and operational tasks.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Improve system reliability through proactive engineering and incident prevention.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve system design and reliability.
• Manage cloud infrastructure and optimize cost/performance.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or system engineering roles.
• Strong programming skills (Python, Go, or similar).
• Experience with Linux/Unix systems administration.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of networking concepts (DNS, load balancing, TCP/IP).
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Familiarity with service mesh (Istio, Linkerd).
• Knowledge of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Experience with incident management and postmortems.
• Understanding of security best practices in cloud environments.
• Experience with chaos engineering and reliability testing.
