• Design, build, and maintain highly available, scalable systems
• Define and manage SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration (Infrastructure as Code)
• Monitor system performance and ensure uptime and reliability
• Troubleshoot production issues and lead incident response
• Implement observability solutions (metrics, logs, tracing)
• Optimize system performance and cost efficiency
• Drive reliability improvements through automation and tooling
• Collaborate with development teams to improve system design
• Conduct postmortems and implement preventive measures
