Sr Principle Technologist

Contribute to the design, enhancement, and enforcement of cloud governance frameworks, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and industry best practices.
Support the management of cloud financial reporting processes, including cost allocation, show?back and chargeback models, budgeting, and forecasting.
Partner with cross?functional teams to uncover cost?saving opportunities, improve asset management practices, and enhance overall cloud resource utilization.
Provide expert guidance to stakeholders at all levels on cloud cost optimization, financial governance, and best?practice cloud management.
Stay current with emerging cloud technologies, FinOps methodologies, and industry trends to continuously improve organizational cloud financial operations.
Develop and implement FinOps strategies to optimize cloud spending across AWS, Azure, and GCP, including but not limited to monitoring and analyzing cloud usage patterns to identify areas for optimization
FinOps Certified Practitioner preferred but not required
Experience with cloud management and FinOps tools (preferably Apptio and CloudAbility)
Must have a deep understanding of AWS & Azure Cloud resources and associated usage costs
Strong understanding of cloud pricing models and cost management strategies
Successful experience with managing multiple projects supporting multiple internal customers concurrently
Proven track record of implementing successful FinOps and governance initiatives.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong understanding of cloud financial management principles and FinOps practices, such as FinOps Framework.
Proficiency in analyzing complex cloud billing data and creating actionable insights
Experience in a large enterprise or multi-cloud environment.
