Sr. DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a senior DevOps Engineer to create and support the development deployment and maintenance of scalable and reliable applications The role involves automating infrastructure improving CICD pipelines and ensuring system stability security and performance across environments

Key Responsibilities

Design build and maintain CICD pipelines for application deployment

Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code IaC tools

Manage cloud platforms and ensure high availability and scalability

Monitor system performance availability and reliability

Collaborate with development QA and operations teams to streamline releases

Implement security best practices across applications and infrastructure

Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis

Maintain documentation for processes configurations and standards

Support incident management deployments and release activities

Required Skills

Strong experience with CICD tools eg Jenkins GitLab CI Azure DevOps

Hands on experience with cloud platforms AWS Azure or GCP

Proficiency in Linux Unix system administration

Expert with containerization and orchestration tools Docker Kubernetes

Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools Terraform ARM Cloud Formation

Experience with version control systems Git

Scripting knowledge Python or similar

Understanding of networking security and monitoring concepts

Good to Have

Experience with configuration management tools Ansible Chef Puppet

Exposure to microservices architecture

Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools

Experience in Agile DevOps environments

Education Experience

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent

8 Years of hands on experience
