12+ Month Contract
3 days per week ONSITE in Detroit, 2x per week remote

They would be open to see relocation candidates that are very very strong in Azure, Azure cloud services, Terraform, with a .NET/C# background.
MUST HAVES:
•            Strong Azure cloud experience & Azure services
•            DevOps/SRE/CI-CD experience
•            Terraform for IaC 
•            Must have strong background in Software Engineering - and SOME C#/.NET 
•            Some testing / load testing experience with things like Jmeter or playwright

NOT LOOKING FOR AWS/GCP cloud engineers - strictly Azure focused

Role: Sr Azure Cloud Engineer 
Location: Detroit, MI (HYBRID - 3x per week ONSITE, 2x per week REMOTE)
Duration: 12+ Month Contract

We are partnering with a major utility company to find a Senior Software Engineer experienced in building robust, cloud-based applications in an Azure environment. This team is responsible for automation platforms that support real-time, event-driven systems — especially during high-traffic scenarios like storms and outages. The ideal candidate has strong coding fundamentals, builds automated testing directly into their development process, and thrives in DevOps-heavy environments.

Tech Requirements:
- Azure Cloud development experience - focused on delivering performant code
- Azure services & cloud-native architecture
- Experience with monitoring & deployment. 
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines & tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions
- Infrastructure as code (IaC) experience with Terraform or similar
- Strong coding/development background (ex: C#/.NET, Java, React, Angular, Python, etc). 

Bonus Skills:
- Experience with Load testing tools
- Familiarity with automation
- Experience developing test scripts
