Sr. AWS Cloud Tech Architect

• Architect microservices and distributed systems in AWS
• Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and business teams
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
• Design CI/CD pipelines and DevOps strategies
• Optimize cloud costs and resource utilization
• Ensure compliance with security and governance standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 10+ years of IT experience with at least 5+ years in AWS cloud architecture
• Deep expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, etc.)
• Strong experience with microservices and distributed system design
• Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS)
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and high availability
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CodePipeline)
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, or Node.js)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional)
• Experience with serverless architecture and event-driven systems
• Knowledge of multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana)
• Familiarity with data platforms (Redshift, EMR, Glue)
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
