Sr. AWS AI Engineer

Role Overview

The AI Engineering Team builds secure, scalable, and responsible AI-driven web applications using leading Large Language Models (LLMs), primarily within Amazon Bedrock environments. The team’s mission is to streamline internal business processes and improve constituent services while maintaining strict data security and compliance standards in a regulated public sector environment.

We are seeking a Senior AWS AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions across enterprise applications. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on experience with AWS AI services, LLM integration, modern frontend frameworks, and cloud-native development practices.

Required Qualifications

3–5+ years of experience in application development and AI/ML implementation.

2+ years of hands-on experience with Amazon Bedrock and AWS AI services.

Strong understanding of LLMs, model deployment, optimisation, and integration patterns.

Proven experience integrating AI into complex enterprise systems.

Proficiency with React and TypeScript for AI-driven UI development.

Experience designing intuitive UI/UX for AI applications.

Familiarity with cloud-based version control and CI/CD pipelines.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience working in the public sector or government environments.

Knowledge of compliance, security, and regulatory standards.

AWS certifications, such as AWS AI Cloud Practitioner.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

Ability to work independently while collaborating in a fast-paced team environment.
