JOB TITLE: Sr. Appian Developer

Location: Rahway, NJ (3 days onsite) Only Locals, Don’t represent them if they are not local

Duration: 12 months

* Lead development of Appian solutions including design, development, testing, and deployment.
* Design scalable Appian applications, integration patterns, and data models aligned with enterprise standards.
* Mentor and manage a team of Appian developers: review designs and code, provide technical guidance, and foster best practices.
* Develop complex process models, interfaces, expression rules, integration objects (Web APIs, connectors), data structures (CDTs), and site/record configurations.
* Implement integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP, database connectors.
* Define and enforce development standards, version control practices, and security guidelines for the Appian environment.
* Collaborate with business analysts, QA, and operations to ensure requirements are met and solutions are testable and supportable.
* Troubleshoot and resolve platform, application, and performance issues; perform root cause analysis and recommend improvements.

* 8+ years of experience in Appian BPM/low-code development
* Strong experience designing and developing Appian process models, interfaces, expression rules, records, sites, and integrations.
* Experience with Appian Data Types (CDTs), record types, and data store entities.
* Strong problem-solving skills, performance tuning experience, and knowledge of best practices for scalable Appian applications.
* Familiarity with Agile methodologies and participation in sprint-based deliveries.
* Ability to work with onshore and offshore teams as required by project needs
