💼 Role Overview
DHHS-ITD is looking for a SQL / Power BI Developer to support data modernization initiatives. You’ll work closely with stakeholders and technical teams to turn complex data into actionable insights through high-quality dashboards and reporting solutions.

🔹 Key Responsibilities
• Gather and analyze business requirements
• Design data models and query data from AWS Data Lake
• Build interactive Power BI dashboards & reports
• Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures & DAX
• Ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance
• Improve dashboard performance and scalability
• Present insights to business stakeholders
• Maintain documentation and support Agile workflows

🔹 Required Skills
✔ 3–5 years in Power BI / Data Analytics
✔ Strong SQL expertise (SQL Server / Oracle / MySQL / PostgreSQL)
✔ Hands-on with DAX & data visualization
✔ Experience with AWS Data Lake / cloud data sources
✔ Knowledge of ETL, data modeling & normalization
✔ Experience with On-Prem Data Gateway & ODBC
✔ Understanding of Power BI security & governance
✔ Strong communication & stakeholder engagement

• Python / Java / C#
• Multi-source data integration experience
