Must have a skills in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), (star/snowflake schemas),migrating large complex databases and applications with logins, jobs, SSIS packages,
and linked servers

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SQL Database Consultant to support database migration, high availability architecture, and performance optimization initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL Server environments, database clustering, reporting tools, and post-migration support.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute migration of large, complex databases and applications, including logins, SQL Agent jobs, SSIS packages, and linked servers
Design, implement, and maintain Always On High Availability and clustering solutions
Manage project lifecycle activities including status reporting, stakeholder meetings, and scope change management
Provide Hyper Care support following database and application migrations to ensure system stability
Monitor and optimize SQL Server performance using tools such as Redgate, including SAN optimization
Develop and maintain reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Power BI
Apply data warehousing concepts (star and snowflake schemas) for data modeling and analytics
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, performance, and availability
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum 4 years of experience in migrating large and complex databases and applications
Minimum 4 years of experience in designing and implementing clustering solutions with Always On High Availability
Minimum 4 years of experience in project coordination, including reporting, meetings, and scope management
Minimum 4 years of experience providing post-migration (Hyper Care) support
Minimum 2 years of experience with Redgate monitoring tools for SQL Server performance tuning
Minimum 4 years of experience with SSRS and reporting tools such as Power BI
Minimum 4 years of experience in data analysis, data warehousing, and visualization techniques
Preferred Skills
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Experience with enterprise-level database environments
Knowledge of SAN and infrastructure optimization
