Hiring: Software Engineer – Mainframe Security & z/OS
Location: Remote
Duration: 3-Year Contract

We are hiring an experienced Software Engineer with strong expertise in Mainframe Top Secret Security Administration and z/OS Administration for a long-term remote contract with a major global client in the railroad domain.

Key Requirements:
8+ years hands-on experience with TSS (Top Secret Security)
5+ years experience in z/OS Administration
Strong experience with JES2, OMVS (z/OS Unix System Services), SMS
3+ years experience with TLS configuration (Certificates, SSL, RSA Keys, SFTP, FTPS)
Experience with REXX
Performance monitoring and issue analysis experience
Informatica Power Exchange Administration
Strong working knowledge of VTAM, TCP/IP, JOBTRAC, BLUEZONE, VTAM/SWITCH

Experience with SMP/E, RMF, SMF, WLM, JCL, GRS, VSAM, TSO
This role requires a senior-level professional who can manage security administration, system maintenance, performance monitoring, and day-to-day mainframe operations in a highly regulated enterprise environment.
