Role Overview

We are seeking a strong Automation Software Engineer with expertise in Python, SQL, and modern automation frameworks, along with exposure to AI-driven testing approaches. This role will support a next-generation platform initiative focused on expanding automated testing capabilities and leveraging AI to improve test coverage, efficiency, and quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Automation & Framework Development

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks
• Build and execute automated test suites for API, microservices, and UI layers
• Create reusable test components and scalable automation solutions
• Work with tools such as JMeter, PyTest, Selenium (or similar)

AI-Driven Testing Strategy

• Leverage AI tools (e.g., Claude, Copilot) to:
  • Generate test cases from requirements
  • Identify edge cases and negative scenarios
  • Suggest automation scripts and reusable components
• Enhance regression strategy by identifying impacted areas from code changes
• Utilize AI for intelligent test selection and optimization

Data Validation & Analysis

• Perform data validation using SQL and Python
• Detect anomalies, trends, and inconsistencies in datasets
• Compare source vs. target data using automated approaches

Microservices & Cloud Testing

• Validate microservices-based architectures
• Test APIs and distributed systems in cloud environments
• Collaborate with engineering teams on integration points

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in:
  • Python
  • SQL
• Experience with test automation frameworks (any modern framework acceptable)
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture
• Experience testing APIs and distributed systems
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Hands-on experience with tools such as:
  • JMeter, PyTest, Selenium (or equivalents)
• Experience with Jupyter/Databricks notebooks (preferred)

AI & Automation (Must-Have Focus)

• Exposure to AI tools such as:
  • Claude
  • GitHub Copilot
• Understanding of how AI can enhance:
  • Test generation
  • Automation development
  • Regression optimization
  • Data validation
