Job Description -

Position Title: Software Developer III (100% ) interview  (local )

Note : Strong  LinkedIn ID is must needed 

Location/Address: Englewood, CO (south of the Centennial Airport)

Remote Flexibility: 1 day remote, 4 days onsite 

Team Details:

• Team works on a few different projects:
  • PMA (Profile Management Application) which is a network optimization tool
  • Connected AMP project is about being able to remotely configure amplifiers in the field and those amplifiers signal the coax that goes into a customers’ house.

Start: Approved to start ASAP

Duration: Long-term contract with intent to hire as FTE

Interview Process: Technical interview (in-person) – They will show them a GoLang code snippet and ask the candidate to explain what the code is doing. Then there will also be a logic question around whiteboarding 

Requirements
Top Requirements (in order of importance)

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong experience with Go (Golang)
• Experience with Angular and TypeScript
• Proficiency in Python
• Hands-on experience deploying applications to Kubernetes environments
• Solid database experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB)

Intangibles:

• Heads down strong developer

Plusses:

• Strong Java with Spring Boot will give them flexibility if they need to switch teams

Day to Day/Project:

• Working on multiple projects for the team
• PMA (internal Profile Management System) work is stable right now
• Connected AMP project is about being able to remotely configure amplifiers in the field and those amplifiers signal the coax that goes into a customers’ house. That’s not small as there are 3.5 million amplifiers out there – this team works on the operational support and software behind this project
  • Today if they wanted to change a configuration, they’d have to drive to each amp in-person
  • To be able to work remotely on this is huge for Charter
• This team is working on the network that provides internet access into people’s homes and there’s about 40 million homes
• Expectation to use Amazon Q in their daily development. Charter has invested a lot of money into the tool and they are generating reporting structures on how often devs are using it.
