Hiring OCP Engineers to support UC8 Container Modernization due to the rapid growth of the team.

Team Dynamic

Team of approximately 10 engineers working alongside a Product Owner support team responsible for managing and supporting OCP (OpenShift Container Platform).

Roles & Responsibilities

• Hands-on engineering support for OpenShift Container Platform (OCP).
• Work across administration, engineering, and architectural responsibilities.
• Collaborate with internal teams, customers, third-party vendors, and Red Hat associates.
• Provide troubleshooting support and investigate platform issues.
• Participate in cross-training and work across multiple technical areas.
• Support large-scale container platform environments and hosted applications.

Must-Have Technical Skills

• Red Hat OpenShift (OCP) or other Kubernetes (K8s) platforms
• Red Hat Linux operating systems
• Understanding of networking and storage architectures for OpenShift/Kubernetes
• Experience supporting hosted applications or large-scale deployments
• Strong understanding of Linux tools and system administration

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Cloud platform experience
• Automation tools such as ArgoCD, Ansible, Jenkins
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines

Soft Skills

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for troubleshooting and problem solving
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
• Creative thinking and problem-solving mindset

Education / Certifications

• Experience may be considered in lieu of formal education
• No certifications required
