SOC Engineer

• Design, secure, and manage Kubernetes clusters, containerized workloads, and cloud-native applications.
• Implement secure CI/CD pipelines, RBAC policies, and audit logging.
• Perform Kubernetes hardening and integrate open-source security tools for continuous monitoring.
• Build and enhance security infrastructure (not just operate existing tools).

DevSecOps & Automation

• Develop automated security workflows using Python, Ansible, and GitHub Actions.
• Integrate container security tools (Trivy, Falco, Anchore, OPA).
• Enforce infrastructure-as-code (IaC) security with Terraform and Ansible.
• Automate compliance checks and implement guardrails in CI/CD processes.

Security Monitoring & Incident Response

• Utilize Wazuh, Teleport, and OpenCTI for monitoring, threat detection, and log analysis.
• Configure intrusion detection and SIEM solutions for Kubernetes environments.
• Lead incident response, forensic analysis, and remediation efforts.

Database & Network Security

• Secure PostgreSQL and MariaDB databases (encryption, access controls, monitoring).
• Implement Zero Trust principles, firewall rules, and intrusion detection.
• Conduct vulnerability scans and penetration testing to identify and address gaps.

Ideal Candidate

• Strong hands-on experience in Kubernetes security, DevSecOps, and automation.
• Proven ability to build security solutions from the ground up.
• Proficient in Python for scripting and automation.
• Experience with open-source security tools and cloud-native environments.
