Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Lead Developer to design, develop, and lead the implementation of scalable data solutions using Snowflake. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, and team leadership, driving best practices and high-performance data architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of data solutions using Snowflake
• Architect and implement scalable data pipelines and data warehouse solutions
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes for large datasets
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data analysts, and engineering teams
• Optimize Snowflake performance, cost, and query efficiency
• Implement data modeling techniques (star schema, snowflake schema)
• Ensure data quality, governance, and security standards
• Mentor and guide junior developers and team members
• Integrate Snowflake with other tools and platforms (AWS/Azure, BI tools)

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Warehousing
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake
• Strong SQL expertise and performance tuning skills
• Experience with ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, dbt, or similar)
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Strong knowledge of data modeling and warehousing concepts
• Experience with semi-structured data (JSON, Parquet, Avro)
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python preferred)
• Experience with version control (Git)
