Snowflake Engineer (Big Query Migration)

- Leads the migration of enterprise-scale data pipelines and analytics workloads from Google BigQuery to Snowflake.
- This role requires deep expertise in Snowflake architecture, SQL optimization, and data modeling, as well as hands-on experience with BigQuery schemas, UDFs, and partitioning strategies.
- The engineer will be responsible for translating query logic, optimizing performance, and ensuring data integrity throughout the migration.
- Familiarity with orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt), secure data sharing, and compliance with financial data governance standards is essential.
- The Data Analytics workstream is comprised of the following high level objectives
- Migrate LedgerScan data warehouse from Google BigQuery to Snowflake
- Deliver Ledgerscan data analytics requirements on the Snowflake platform
- Ensure all non-functional requirements are built into the solution (Capacity, Integrity, Resiliency, Availability, Security, Performance)
- Enable consumption and dissemination of data via APIs andor BI tools
