Snowflake Data Engineer

🔹 Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement Snowflake schemas (Star, Snowflake, Data Vault) with performance optimization (micro-partitioning, clustering keys, materialized views).
Build real-time & batch ingestion pipelines using Snowpipe, Kafka Connect, Fivetran, Matillion, Informatica, dbt.
Implement Streams & Tasks for CDC automation.
Develop transformation logic using Snowpark (Python/SQL/Scala).
Enable semi-structured data handling (JSON, Avro, Parquet, ORC, XML).
Implement RBAC, Row Access Policies, Dynamic Data Masking.
Optimize cost & performance using multi-cluster warehouses and resource monitors.
Integrate with cloud platforms (AWS S3, Azure ADLS, GCS) and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
Support CI/CD automation using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or dbt Cloud.
🔹 Qualifications:
10+ years of data engineering experience.
5+ years working with Snowflake Data Cloud.
Strong expertise in SQL optimization & Snowflake performance tuning.
Hands-on experience with Snowpipe, Streams & Tasks, Snowpark, Secure Data Sharing.
Experience with AWS and ETL/ELT tools.
SnowPro Core Certification preferred.
