Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Snowflake Data Engineer with a strong background in the Retail domain to design, build, and optimize modern data platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Snowflake, data warehousing, and building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to support business analytics and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop data pipelines and workflows using Snowflake
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes for large-scale data ingestion
• Implement and maintain data models (star/snowflake schema) for analytics
• Work with structured and unstructured data from multiple retail data sources
• Optimize query performance and warehouse usage in Snowflake
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and data scientists
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance
• Integrate Snowflake with BI tools and downstream applications
• Support real-time and batch data processing

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering / data warehousing
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake
• Proficiency in SQL and Python
• Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, dbt, or similar)
• Strong understanding of data modeling techniques
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Knowledge of data integration and pipeline orchestration tools (Airflow, etc.)
• Experience handling large-scale datasets
