Sfdc Functional Tester

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for Salesforce applications.
• Validate Salesforce configurations, customizations, and workflows.
• Perform end-to-end and integration testing of Salesforce with other systems.
• Use SQL queries to validate data integrity and migration.
• Conduct API testing to validate Salesforce integrations using tools like Postman or SOAP UI.
• Identify, document, and track defects and issues.
• Maintain test cases, test results, and defect reports.
• Prepare and present test reports to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and other testers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in Salesforce functional testing.
• Proficiency in SQL queries.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or SOAP UI.
• Understanding of Salesforce architecture and components.
• Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Platform App Builder).
• Experience with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP).
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and related tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git).
