Location: Memphis, TN OR Birmingham, AL OR Charlotte/Raleigh, NC

Job Description:

We seek highly motivated ServiceNow Developers to successfully deliver ServiceNow solutions and services.

 

Skills and attributes for success

  • Lead the technical team on implementation project teams, supporting testers.
  • Assist Leads in workshops to gather agile user stories/epics/features using Agile software.
  • Direct users on best practices across ServiceNow products and platforms.
  • Develop Offerings, Solutions, and Designs for product implementations.
  • Deliver Application UI Configuration and Workflow Configuration.
  • Development of specific reporting needs, including Performance Analytics.
  • Interface with ServiceNow technical product teams as needed.
  • Prepare deliverables that are technology-related.
  • Be the Subject Matter Expert on the delivery of ServiceNow solutions.
  • Creation and delivery of solutions for users addressing requirements through technical architecture in consideration of process design and technical best practices and standards
  • Collaborate and contribute to creating, deploying, and maintaining Technical Best Practices and Standards.
  • Ensuring technical deliverables are complete, consistent, high quality, on time, and deliver valued outcomes.

 

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Demonstrated success as a key technical resource leading the development of solutions for ITSM, CMDB, Asset Management, ITOM, and Service Catalog
  • 2+ years of ServiceNow implementation experience with IRM (GRC) implementations.
  • Demonstrated experience with Horizontal (SCCM & IP), Top-Down (Service Mapping), Cloud and Pattern-Based Discovery methods.
  • Proficiency with Agile project management and delivery methodologies.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience in technical consulting and client-facing roles required
  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred. Certifications in Certified ServiceNow Administrator (CSA), Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS-Risk and Compliance and CIS-TPRM), and Application Developer (CAD).
  • Industry Certifications, including SAFe Product Owner, SAFe Implementer, SAFe Agilist, and Scrum Master, are also preferred.
  • Maintain all certifications and micro certifications and continual progression in developer learning plans.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to present and articulately explain technical information.
  • Ability to understand and interpret business needs and identify appropriate business and technical solutions to meet those needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and consult (providing options with pros, cons, and risks) around all critical technical decisions during project delivery.

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Experience with ServiceNow Next in UI design configuration, implementation, development, standard list/form/navigation updates, workflows, instance management, and creating tables and fields.
  • Experience with SDLC, Agile Scrum, SAFe, and Kanban methodologies. Excellent communication skills, team player, drives processes, and actively owns deliverables.
  • Deep understanding of ServiceNow Platform end-to-end delivery processes; advanced functional and technical knowledge of the ServiceNow IRM/GRC best practices.
  • Familiarity with the platform data model including CSDM, data analytics, data reporting, ServiceNow Process; strong process development, facilitating requirements for ServiceNow implementations and ServiceNow integration (SOAP, REST, XML), automation, and workflows.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in the creation and modification of various Access Controls (ACLs), Business Rules, Scripting, Ajax Query, Glide Scripting, Jelly Scripts, Java Scripting, UI Policies; Service Portals (Widgets, Server Scripting, Client Scripting, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, Portal Configuration); ServiceNow version experience; Zurich, Yokohama, Washington, Vancouver, Tokyo, San Diego, Rome, Quebec.
  • Strong interest in cloud computing and related technologies, including SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS.

 

Notes on the role

 

Requirement for the GRC position is very specific, so please make sure any candidate whom you will be sourcing should have at least 3-4 years of GRC experience in last few years. They should be able to handle the development team independently.  If a candidate does not have GRC experience in his current project and in last 3-4 years, then please done share their profiles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Platform Configuration: Designing, implementing, and maintaining ServiceNow IRM/GRC modules (Policy & Compliance, BCM, Risk, Audit, Vendor Risk).
  • Risk & Control Management: Identifying, assessing, and mitigating operational and IT risks by mapping policies to control objectives.
  • Automation: Creating workflows to automate risk assessments, compliance attestations, and issue management.
  • Audit Support: Assisting with internal/external audits, tracking evidence, and managing remediation efforts.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Creating dashboards, reports, and maintaining documentation on control frameworks.
  • Collaboration: Working with security, IT, and business teams to ensure compliance with regulations like GDPR. 

 

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • ServiceNow GRC/IRM Experience: Deep understanding of ServiceNow GRC applications, architecture, and configuration.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with ServiceNow development (Script Includes, Client Scripts, Business Rules) and workflows.
  • Domain Knowledge: Knowledge of GRC frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and risk management methodologies.
  • Certifications: ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - Risk and Compliance (highly preferred).
  • Analysis: Ability to map technical risks to business impacts and translate requirements into platform capabilities.
