Senior Talend Lead

• Architect and implement ETL/ELT pipelines for large-scale data processing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and security best practices.
• Optimize and troubleshoot existing Talend jobs for performance and scalability.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior team members.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce development standards.
• Integrate Talend with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Work with databases like Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, and PostgreSQL.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for data integration workflows.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in data integration and ETL development.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Talend (DI, Big Data, or Talend Cloud).
• Strong proficiency in SQL and database concepts.
• Experience with data warehousing and data modeling.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Java, Python, or Shell scripting).
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Talend certification (e.g., Talend Data Integration Certified Developer).
• Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark).
• Knowledge of REST APIs and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with data governance and compliance standards.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
