Senior Reporting Engineer

Job Title: Senior Reporting Engineer / Lead – Power BI & Analytics
Location: Miami, FL onsite day 1 (Need only locals)

Job Type: contract 
Duration: 12 months with possible extension
Experience: 10–12 years

Role Summary:
Lead the design and delivery of Power BI reporting and analytics solutions, working directly with business stakeholders to understand problems and deliver data-driven solutions aligned to the company’s North Star data architecture.

Key Responsibilities:
Work with business teams to gather requirements and translate them into reporting and analytics solutions.
Design, build, and optimize Power BI dashboards, data models, and reports.
Write and tune complex PL/SQL queries, views, and procedures to support reporting needs.
Apply data analytics and basic AI capabilities to deliver actionable insights.
Ensure solutions follow enterprise data architecture, standards, and governance.
Provide guidance to junior team members and power users on best practices.

Required Qualifications:
10–12 years in BI/reporting/data analytics, with senior or lead-level responsibility.
Strong hands-on Power BI skills (data modeling, DAX, performance optimization).
Solid PL/SQL and relational database experience.
Proven track record working directly with business stakeholders.
Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts in business terms.
Experience operating within an enterprise or “North Star” data architecture; exposure to AI/ML in analytics is a plus.
