Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Power BI Architect / Lead with 12+ years of experience in Data & Analytics and strong expertise in Microsoft Power BI architecture, data modeling, and enterprise BI solutions. The candidate will be responsible for designing scalable BI solutions, leading Power BI implementations, and guiding teams in delivering high-quality analytics and reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of enterprise Power BI solutions.
• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI.
• Design and implement data models, semantic layers, and data transformation logic.
• Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements.
• Optimize Power BI performance, dataset refresh strategies, and report scalability.
• Implement Power BI governance, security, and best practices including Row-Level Security (RLS).
• Manage Power BI Service, workspaces, gateways, and deployment pipelines.
• Integrate Power BI with data sources such as SQL Server, Azure Synapse, Snowflake, and other cloud platforms.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to BI developers and analysts.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance optimization.
• Support data strategy, analytics roadmap, and BI modernization initiatives.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in Data Analytics / BI / Data Warehousing.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI development and architecture.
• Strong expertise in:
  • Power BI Desktop & Power BI Service
  • DAX (Data Analysis Expressions)
  • Power Query / M Language
  • Data Modeling (Star Schema, Dimensional Modeling)
• Strong experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Experience integrating Power BI with Azure Data Platform services.
• Knowledge of Power BI governance, security models, and deployment pipelines.
• Experience with data warehouse and ETL concepts.
