Senior Java Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer with 6+ years of experience to design and develop high-performance, scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate will play a key role in architecture decisions, mentor junior developers, and work closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend applications using Java
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices
• Work extensively with Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud
• Lead technical design discussions and architecture decisions
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and security
• Review code, enforce best practices, and mentor team members
• Collaborate with Product, Frontend, DevOps, and QA teams
• Handle production issues and root cause analysis
• Drive CI/CD adoption and automation
• Ensure system observability (logging, monitoring, tracing)

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in Java (Java 8+)
• Strong expertise in Spring, Spring Boot
• Solid experience with Microservices architecture
• REST API design & integration
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle)
• Experience with Hibernate / JPA
• Hands-on experience with Git
• Experience in multithreading & concurrency
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
