Senior Hogan IDS Developer

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions within Hogan IDS.
• Perform enhancements, defect fixes, and production support for Hogan IDS modules.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality banking solutions.
• Develop and maintain COBOL, JCL, and DB2 programs within the Hogan environment.
• Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and optimization of Hogan applications.
• Participate in system integration, data conversion, and migration projects.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations, security standards, and coding best practices.
• Support release management, deployment activities, and incident resolution.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Hogan IDS development.
• Strong experience with COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and DB2 on mainframe environments.
• Hands-on experience with Hogan banking applications, especially IDS modules.
• Experience working in core banking or financial services environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Hogan CIS, IMS, or other Hogan suites.
• Familiarity with Agile or DevOps practices.
• Experience with mainframe tools such as Endevor, Changeman, or ISPW.
• Prior experience working with large banking institutions or core banking implementations.
