 Senior Data Engineer (Health Care Experience Mandatory)

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

✔ Analyze and document clinical workflows across inpatient, outpatient, and ancillary care settings
✔ Translate clinical and operational requirements into technical specifications and data solutions
✔ Design, develop, optimize, and maintain Cerner Command Language (CCL) scripts
✔ Perform complex data extraction, validation, reconciliation, and reporting from Cerner Millennium Oracle schemas
✔ Support enterprise-wide EHR migration, reporting, and legacy system retirement initiatives
✔ Develop and maintain ETL workflows, flat-file extracts, and structured data feeds
✔ Troubleshoot production issues, integration challenges, and performance bottlenecks
✔ Collaborate with clinical informatics teams, technical architects, and business stakeholders
✔ Support cloud-based and distributed healthcare data environments

🔹 Required Skills & Experience:

✅ 11+ years of experience in Healthcare IT / Data Engineering
✅ Advanced hands-on experience with Cerner Millennium CCL
✅ Strong knowledge of Cerner Millennium architecture and Oracle databases
✅ Expertise in SQL, Linux, ETL development, and healthcare data extraction
✅ Experience with REST/SOA integrations and enterprise reporting environments
✅ Strong understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare operations
✅ Experience supporting large-scale EHR implementations, migrations, or optimization initiatives
✅ Knowledge of distributed systems, networking, and performance tuning
✅ Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI
✅ Experience with Java, Python, C, C++, Perl, or OCI is a plus
