📍 Location: Detroit, MI (Hybrid – 3 days onsite) - Need Only Locals

🔹 Role Overview
This is a high-impact role focused on transforming legacy data systems into modern, scalable architectures. You’ll drive strategy, design robust data pipelines, and lead teams in building future-ready data platforms.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end ETL migration from legacy systems to modern/cloud platforms
Design scalable, high-performance data pipelines
Define data architecture standards and best practices
Provide technical leadership & mentorship to engineering teams
Drive adoption of modern ETL and data integration tools
Ensure data quality, governance, and security compliance
Collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions
🔹 Required Skills
8+ years in Data Architecture / Data Engineering
Strong experience with ETL design & migration
Expertise in data modeling, relational/NoSQL databases
Hands-on with modern data platforms & distributed processing
Experience with automation, orchestration, and CI/CD pipelines
Strong problem-solving and technical leadership skills
🔹 Preferred Skills
Cloud experience (AWS / Azure / GCP)
Knowledge of Data Lakes, Warehouses, Lakehouse architectures
Experience with real-time / streaming data
Understanding of data governance & compliance
