*Job Overview*
We are seeking a highly skilled *Senior Big Data Engineer* with extensive experience in designing, developing, and optimizing large-scale data processing systems. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Big Data technologies, cloud platforms, and modern data engineering practices.

*Key Responsibilities*
* Design, develop, and maintain scalable Big Data pipelines and data processing systems
* Work with large datasets using distributed computing frameworks
* Build and optimize data workflows using Spark, Hadoop, and Hive
* Develop real-time and batch data processing solutions
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams for data modeling and analytics requirements
* Ensure data quality, performance, and reliability across systems
* Implement streaming solutions using Kafka or similar frameworks

*Required Skills & Qualifications*
* 10+ years of experience in Big Data and Data Engineering
* Strong hands-on experience with *Hadoop ecosystem*
* Expertise in *Apache Spark (RDD API)* and *Scala programming*
* Proficiency in *Python* and *Core Java*
* Experience with *Hive, Pig, and Oozie (mandatory)*
* Strong knowledge of *data warehousing* and *data modeling techniques*
* Experience with *SQL, Linux, and scripting languages*
* Hands-on experience with *AWS or GCP cloud platforms*
* Experience with *Kafka or other streaming frameworks*
* Familiarity with visualization/analytics tools such as *Tableau or R*

*Preferred Qualifications*
* Experience building end-to-end data pipelines
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
