Senior Analytics Data Engineer

• Integrate data from multiple sources (APIs, databases, streaming platforms)
• Optimize query performance and data processing workflows
• Collaborate with analytics and business teams to define data requirements
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for data pipelines
• Lead technical design discussions and mentor junior engineers
• Support real-time and batch data processing solutions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering
• Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python, Scala, or Java)
• Hands-on experience with data warehousing solutions (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, etc.)
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools (Airflow, dbt, Informatica, etc.)
• Knowledge of distributed data processing frameworks (Spark, Hadoop)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Strong understanding of data modeling (star schema, snowflake schema)
• Experience with version control systems (Git)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with real-time streaming tools (Kafka, Kinesis, etc.)
• Knowledge of data governance and security best practices
• Exposure to BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with machine learning data pipelines
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
