Job Title: Manager – Talent Acquisition Systems
This is a hands-on functional consultant role at the Manager level. The candidate will be hands-on with system configuration during the transformation and SAP SuccessFactors implementation.
Job Description
The Manager, Talent Acquisition Systems will be responsible for leading and executing the technical strategy, configuration, and continuous improvements of SAP SuccessFactors and SmartRecruiters.
This role manages a team of professionals supporting Recruiting and Onboarding products. Collaboration across engineering, cyber, IT partners, and vendor/contractor teams requires project or support-based people leadership responsibilities.
The role also requires hands-on application configuration and testing, along with cross-team collaboration for enhancement development, reporting/analytics, and security requirements to deliver holistic solutions.
Responsibilities
- Technical solution ownership for Recruiting and Onboarding solutions
- Engage with business partners to understand strategy, objectives, and process needs
- Collaborate with vendors, business partners, engineering, and IT teams to deliver solutions based on requirements
- Lead and participate in virtual and in-person meetings
- Architect and implement holistic solutions and support existing systems
- Perform system configuration to support business needs
- Provide innovative solutions beyond system limitations
- Manage and execute project activities for applications/modules in scope
- Provide day-to-day support for applications/modules (tickets, vendor release adoption, IT governance tasks, enhancements, etc.)
- Navigate SAP HCM OM/PA modules for Talent Management data and create RICEF specifications
- Continuously review and optimize SAP HCM, SuccessFactors, and SmartRecruiters integrations
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of HR/IT professionals
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 7+ years of technical experience with 2+ years of people management experience
- 7+ years delivering HR/IT solutions including project and support work
- 7+ years experience with core HR systems (SuccessFactors, SAP HCM) and employee lifecycle management (hire-to-retire)
- 7+ years experience with SaaS HR solutions, specifically SuccessFactors and SmartRecruiters
- 7+ years experience in requirements gathering, solution modeling, and documentation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of HR Talent Acquisition processes
- Excellent SuccessFactors project/task management skills with a proven track record
- Strong people leadership competencies (inspire, motivate, guide)
- Proven ability to collaborate across IT and HR business teams
- Excellent communication skills
- Occasional travel within the USA
