Job Description
We are seeking an experienced SAP RAR (Revenue Accounting and Reporting) Consultant to support SAP revenue recognition and reporting solutions in an enterprise environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with SAP RAR configuration, revenue recognition processes, contract management, integration with SAP FI/SD, troubleshooting, testing, and production support.

Key Responsibilities
Configure and support SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR).
Implement revenue recognition and accounting requirements based on business processes.
Configure revenue contracts, performance obligations, allocation, and revenue recognition rules.
Work with SAP RAR integration with SAP FI/CO, SD, billing, and other relevant modules.
Support revenue accounting processes including contract creation, revenue recognition, adjustments, and reporting.
Analyze and resolve SAP RAR functional and integration issues.
Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
Develop functional specifications and work with technical teams on enhancements and integrations.
Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, defect resolution, and production releases.
Perform data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting of revenue accounting transactions.
Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, SAP functional teams, developers, and business stakeholders.
Prepare functional documentation, configuration documentation, and user support materials.
Provide production support and participate in issue resolution and root-cause analysis.
Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience with SAP RAR.
Strong understanding of revenue recognition and revenue accounting processes.
Experience with SAP FI/CO and integration with SD/billing processes.
Experience with SAP RAR configuration and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of revenue contracts, performance obligations, allocation, and revenue recognition.
Experience with SAP integration, interfaces, and data flows.
Strong testing, defect management, and production support experience.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP RAR.
Experience with complex enterprise revenue models.
Experience with SAP BRF+ or related business-rule frameworks.
Experience with RAR data migration and reconciliation.
Experience working on SAP RAR implementation, upgrade, or transformation projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
Relevant SAP RAR implementation/support experience.
