Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP S/4HANA PPDS Consultant with strong hands-on experience in Capacity Planning and Detailed Scheduling. The ideal candidate will have solid exposure to Automotive manufacturing environments, strong functional and configuration expertise, and the ability to work closely with business stakeholders in an onsite, client-facing role.

Mandatory Requirements

Willingness to relocate to Normal, IL or currently located within 50 miles of the site

3–4+ years of hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA PPDS

Automotive industry experience (mandatory)

Strong communication skills and ability to manage daily client interactions and meetings

Core Responsibilities

Hands-on experience in Capacity Planning and Detailed Scheduling, managing daily manufacturing operations

Configure and manage PPDS Planning Heuristics and Optimizers

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PPDS and integrated SAP modules

Work on PPDS–S/4HANA integration, including data transfer and consistency checks

Collaborate closely with manufacturing, planning, and business teams to support operational excellence

Manufacturing & Functional Skills

Strong knowledge of Discrete and Repetitive Manufacturing processes

Experience or working knowledge of S/4HANA IPPE (Integrated Product and Process Engineering)

Experience or working knowledge of S/4HANA Variant Configuration

Ability to translate business requirements into PPDS solutions

Preferred Skills

Experience working in complex automotive manufacturing landscapes

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently in an onsite environment
