SAP Opentext Vim Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and support SAP OpenText VIM solutions integrated with SAP ERP / S/4HANA.
• Configure end-to-end invoice processing workflows including capture, validation, approval, and posting.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand Accounts Payable (AP) processes and requirements.
• Design and optimize invoice automation and exception handling workflows.
• Integrate OpenText VIM with SAP modules such as FI, MM, and SRM.
• Troubleshoot issues related to invoice processing, OCR, and workflow errors.
• Support data migration, testing (SIT/UAT), and deployment activities.
• Provide functional and technical documentation for implemented solutions.
• Ensure compliance with financial controls and audit requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including SAP functional consultants, developers, and infrastructure teams.

Required Skills

SAP & VIM Expertise

• Strong experience in SAP FI (Finance) and MM (Materials Management)
• Hands-on experience with SAP OpenText VIM configuration and implementation
• Knowledge of invoice lifecycle management in SAP
• Experience with SAP workflow configuration and troubleshooting

OpenText Skills

• OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) for SAP Solutions
• OCR technologies and document capture processes
• Document processing and exception handling workflows
• Integration of OpenText Archive Server (preferred)

Technical Skills

• SAP S/4HANA or ECC environments
• Basic ABAP knowledge (debugging and enhancements preferred)
• SAP Fiori (optional but good to have)

Tools & Integration

• SAP Business Workflow
• IDoc, RFC, and API integrations
• Testing tools for SAP (HP ALM, SolMan, etc.)
