Job Description: We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Application Architect with 10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP architecture. The ideal candidate will define end-to-end application architecture for SAP solutions, drive Clean Core principles, and ensure enterprise-level governance, scalability, and long-term maintainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement end-to-end application architecture for SAP solutions aligned with business strategy and enterprise standards
• Create and maintain reference architectures leveraging input from application, platform, integration, data, and security teams
• Drive Clean Core principles by defining what belongs in SAP standard, in-app extensibility, and side-by-side extensions
• Review and approve solution designs to reduce customization, technical debt, and long-term maintenance risk
• Define application-level standards for monitoring, logging, and observability
• Evaluate and influence total cost of ownership, including build, run, support, and upgrade costs
• Provide technical leadership in architecture review boards (ARB) and governance processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and act as a trusted advisor to IS&T stakeholders

• SAP S/4HANA application & functional architecture
• SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform)
• Clean Core principles and SAP extensibility strategy
• In-app extensibility and side-by-side extension design
• Reference architecture and solution design
• Architecture governance / ARB review experience
• Custom code assessment, simplification, and retirement
• Monitoring, logging, and observability in SAP landscapes
• Strong understanding of integration, data, and security alignment
• Strong decision-making, stakeholder communication, and leadership skills
