About the Role: The Principal SAP ABAP Developer will design, develop, and maintain complex SAP applications to meet evolving business requirements. This role requires a high-level technical expert capable of translating functional specifications into robust technical solutions within the SAP ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
•⁠  ⁠Design and code ABAP programs based on functional requirements, interfacing with modules like Financial Accounting (FI), Controlling (CO), Materials Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Human Resources (HR).
•⁠  ⁠Debug and troubleshoot existing applications to resolve technical issues and optimize performance.
•⁠  ⁠Develop custom Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms (RICEFW), and Workflows.
•⁠  ⁠Perform Unit Testing and Quality Assurance to ensure adherence to security and data integrity standards.
•⁠  ⁠Collaborate with functional teams and project managers to deliver high-quality technical solutions.
•⁠  ⁠Maintain comprehensive documentation for programs, configurations, and development processes.
•⁠  ⁠Support SAP upgrades, migrations, and new module implementations.
Essential Skills:
•⁠  ⁠Expertise in SAP ABAP programming and Object-Oriented ABAP.
•⁠  ⁠Proficiency in integration tools: Business Application Programming Interfaces (BAPIs), Remote Function Calls (RFCs), and Intermediate Documents (IDocs).
•⁠  ⁠In-depth knowledge of SAP HANA and SAP Cloud Platform.
•⁠  ⁠Experience with Fiori/UI5 development and modern UI technologies.
Desirable Skills:
•⁠  ⁠Advanced SAP Certifications in Development or HANA.
•⁠  ⁠Experience with S/4HANA migrations.
•⁠  ⁠Strong analytical and performance tuning skills.
