Job Title:  Salesforce Technical Architect

Location: Hopkins, MN(  Onsite)

Client: State of MN

Only GC and USC

Top 3 responsibilities:
1. Lead the design and architecture of Salesforce Health Cloud solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
2. Partner with business and technical stakeholders to translate healthcare requirements into Salesforce capabilities.
3. Provide technical leadership to development teams on best practices, coding standards, and integration strategies.
4. Oversee data modeling, integration, and security design to support HIPAA, GDPR, and healthcare compliance needs.
5. Support the full delivery lifecycle from technical design through deployment, release management, and ongoing optimization.

Required Qualifications:

● 10+ years of Salesforce experience, with 4+ years as a Technical Architect.
● Proven hands-on experience with Salesforce Health Cloud implementations.
● Strong understanding of healthcare data models, care plans, patient management, and provider-patient relationships in Health Cloud.
● Expertise in Salesforce core clouds (Sales, Service, Experience) and platform features (Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows).
● Skilled in system integrations using APIs (REST/SOAP), HL7/FHIR, and middleware (MuleSoft preferred).
● Experience with Salesforce security and compliance (HIPAA, PHI data protection, OAuth, Single Sign-On).
● Proficiency in DevOps and release management tools (SFDX, Copado, Git, Jenkins, or ADO).
● Verbal and written communication skills
○ Must be able to explain complex, technical SF concepts to non-technical stakeholders and technical, non-Salesforce, staff
○ Must be able to work hand-in-hand with enterprise architects to define, design, and implement complex Salesforce solutions
○ Must have a passion for writing concise and impactful documentation

● Agile methodology
○ Must have experience estimating work in an Agile methodology
○ Must have familiarity with the standard Agile ceremonies
○ Must have familiarity with SAFe

Preferred Qualifications:

● Salesforce certifications: Application Architect, System Architect, Technical Architect (CTA), or Health Cloud Consultant.
● Familiarity with EHR/EMR integration and interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR).
● Experience with data migration strategies for healthcare data, including anonymization/masking.
● Knowledge of Salesforce Shield (event monitoring, field audit trail, encryption).
● Strong leadership skills with ability to mentor developers and admins on Health Cloud best practices.
● Experience with enterprise-scale Salesforce environments (multi-orgstrategy, integration hubs).
● Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a plus
