Role: Salesforce CPQ Architect / Senior Consultant

Experience

10+ years in IT with strong expertise in Salesforce ecosystem and CPQ implementations

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation of Salesforce CPQ solutions (design, development, deployment)
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and translate complex pricing and quoting requirements
• Design scalable CPQ architecture including:
  • Product configuration
  • Pricing rules
  • Discounting logic
  • Quote templates
• Customize and configure Salesforce CPQ features:
  • Product Rules
  • Price Rules
  • Quote Calculator Plugins (QCP)
• Integrate CPQ with other systems (ERP, Billing, Payment gateways)
• Drive data migration and product catalog setup
• Optimize quote-to-cash (QTC) processes
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior developers
• Ensure best practices in Salesforce governance, security, and performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Finance, Operations)

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Salesforce CPQ (SteelBrick)
  • Apex, Visualforce, Lightning (LWC/Aura)
  • Salesforce Sales Cloud
• Deep understanding of:
  • Pricing models (subscription, usage-based, tiered pricing)
  • Contract lifecycle management
• Experience with:
  • Quote Templates & Advanced Approvals
  • CPQ APIs and integrations
• Knowledge of DevOps tools (Copado, Gearset, Jenkins) is a plus
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
