Job Description

A Service and Experience Cloud Architect is a senior-level technical leader responsible for designing and implementing end-to-end customer service and digital experience solutions, primarily within the Salesforce ecosystem. They bridge the gap between complex business requirements for customer support and the technical architecture of public-facing portals and internal service consoles.

Core Responsibilities

·        Solution Design: Lead the end-to-end architecture for Salesforce Service Cloud (Case Management, Omni-Channel, Knowledge) and Experience Cloud (Portals, Communities, and Sites).

·        Strategic Planning: Define technical direction and roadmaps for digital transformation, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and high-performing.

·        Documentation: Create High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs), including detailed data models, sharing rules, and architectural diagrams.

·        Technical Governance: Oversee code reviews, deployment strategies (DevOps), and environment management to maintain system integrity.

·        Integration: Design complex integration patterns between Salesforce and third-party systems (e.g., ServiceNow, ERPs, or middleware like MuleSoft).

·        Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with C-suite executives, product owners, and developers to align technical solutions with business outcomes.

Key Skills & Qualifications

·        Platform Expertise: Deep hands-on knowledge of Salesforce Service Cloud, Experience Cloud (LWC, Apex, Flows), and Identity & Access Management.

·        Certifications: Often requires Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant, Experience Cloud Consultant, and Certified Application/System Architect.

·        Technical Proficiency: Understanding of integration patterns (APIs, Event-driven architecture), Salesforce security models, and DevOps processes.

·        Experience: Typically requires 12-15+ years of Salesforce implementation experience, with at least 3–5 years in an architect-level role.

·        Soft Skills: Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences and provide mentorship to engineering teams.
