RPA Developer

We are looking for a U.S.-based developer who can support our Tax Technology processes, specifically in TTFS (Tax Tracking & Filing System). The primary responsibility includes secure screen capturing, screen scraping, and data extraction from tax-related workflows, ensuring high accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality.

This role will closely collaborate with our engineering team and client-side tax operations to automate, capture, and document TTFS screens and associated data flows.

Key Responsibilities

1. Screen Capturing & Documentation

?  Capture high-quality screenshots, screen recordings, and UI flows within TTFS.

?  Label, organize, and maintain captured data for engineering and QA teams.

?  Create step-by-step workflows and visual references for use in automation and testing.

2. Screen Scraping & Data Extraction

?  Implement or support screen scraping processes to extract structured data from TTFS screens.

?  Work with tools/techniques such as OCR, DOM parsing, RPA frameworks, or custom scripts.

?  Ensure data extraction is accurate, compliant, and reliable across multiple scenarios.

3. Collaboration & Support

?  Collaborate with offshore and onsite engineering teams to provide captured screens and extracted data in timely manner.

?  Participate in working sessions with client SMEs to understand tax processes and identify required screens.

?  Troubleshoot inconsistencies in scraping outputs and document findings.

4. Compliance & Confidentiality

?  Handle sensitive Tax-related data with strict adherence to confidentiality policies.

?  Ensure compliance with IRS/State-level security guidelines where required.

?  Follow approved secure methods for storing and transferring captured screens.

Required Skills & Experience

?  5+ years of experience in screen scraping, OCR, RPA, or UI automation.

?  Experience with one or more tools/frameworks such as:

?  Selenium, Playwright, Puppeteer

?  Python/Node.js automation scripts

?  RPA tools (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, BluePrism)

?  OCR tools (Tesseract, Azure OCR, AWS Textract, Google Vision)

?  Ability to perform structured capturing of application screens and produce clear documentation.

?  Strong attention to detail, especially while handling financial and tax data.

?  Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and available for onsite work if required.

?  Experience with Tax Technology systems or U.S. state/federal tax workflows.

?  Prior work with legacy systems, desktop apps, or non-API environments.

?  Understanding of secure data handling practices in regulatory environments.

?  Experience working with distributed teams (onsite + offshore).
