Core Responsibilities

App Development: Designing and writing clean, scalable source code for new applications or feature updates.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partnering with UI/UX designers, product managers, and backend engineers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless functionality.

Quality Assurance: Implementing testing procedures, debugging code, and resolving performance bottlenecks or crashes.

Maintenance: Continuously monitoring app performance and updating software to ensure compatibility with the latest operating systems.

Deployment: Managing the end-to-end publishing process, including meeting strict guidelines for the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Programming Languages: Proficiency in platform-specific languages like Swift (iOS) and Kotlin or Java (Android) is standard.

Frameworks: Experience with cross-platform tools such as Flutter and React Native is highly valued for reaching multiple platforms from a single codebase.

Technical Tools: Mastery of development environments like Xcode and Android Studio, along with version control systems like Git.

Education: Most roles require a bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering, though a strong Project Portfolio can sometimes offset formal requirements.

Problem-Solving: The ability to troubleshoot complex bugs and optimize battery and memory usage.
